It is recommended that new exhaust gaskets and a Power Commander be installed when changing an exhaust system on a fuel-injected motorcycle. Discoloration (blueing) is caused by tuning characteristics, i.e. cam timing, carburetor, etc., and is not caused by defective manufacturing.
