The Power Commander V fuel controller gives you the ability to use a preprogrammed SLP map or to create a custom map of your own
Some PCV models also allow ignition timing control capabilities that provide a good horsepower improvement over just controlling fuel alone

However if you choose to make a custom map for an engine configuration not supported by SLP the PCV has the ability to be outfitted with optional tuning/monitoring accessories such as Autotune Wideband 2 and the LCD display
