Recommended for 88103-inch motors. Increased compression, head work, large carb/ throttle body, and performance pipes will really make this cam shine. Works well in stock motors and has produced 93 horsepower in an 88-inch with no head work and stock throttle body, well over 110 horsepower is possible in a modified 95- inch.
Aftermarket valve springs with a spring pressure of 170200 lbs. are recommended.
Valve-to-valve and valve-to-piston clearance should be checked. It is important to check for lobe-to-case clearance. Material may need to be removed above the main bearing.
These cams are designed to allow use of the stock starter in larger than stock engines and help eliminate detonation up to 10.5:1 compression while still using 92 octane premium fuel.
